Originally, this piece was done for a collector of western art, but, honestly, the collector never collected it. LOL. Maybe too contemporary, we guess, not really sure?! But we still have a lot of love for this piece and the meaning John worked so hard to build into it. Among lots of other thoughts, the title "For Spacious Skies?" with the question mark represents that the Native American's questions of what's going to happen to the land and his people and also questions the settlers motivations as they tore through the country.
